2016 Mercedes-AMG A45 4Matic
This week, Mercedes-Benz unveiled an updated version of its A-Class compact, and we’re glad to report that the A45 from Mercedes-AMG is now producing as much as 376 horsepower. We’re gladder still to report that this same extra potency is expected to feature on updated versions of the CLA45 and GLA45 sold here, current versions of which deliver 355 hp.
2017 Jaguar F-Pace prototype as Team Sky support vehicle for Tour de France rider Chris Froome
Jaguar’s new F-Pace is set for a debut at September’s 2015 Frankfurt Auto Show, and some revealing teaser shots of the SUV were published this week. A barely disguised version is being used as a support vehicle in this year’s Tour de France.
2017 Audi A4 Avant
Audi’s new A4, the B9 series, was revealed in full this week. Both the sedan and Avant wagon versions have been shown, though only the former is expected in the United States. The new A4 is Audi’s second model to ride on the new MLB Evo platform, and it’s lighter, more powerful and much more advanced than its predecessor.

No, you’re not looking at a spaceship of some kind. BMW this week showed two research vehicles that it is using to develop hydrogen fuel cell technology. One of them is based on the sleek i8 sports car, which has a modified body designed to be even slipperier through the air.
