You don’t see this every day.

A Jacksonville pizza delivery driver unintentionally added an extra topping to several parked cars at a Blanding Boulevard restaurant Saturday.

Florida Highway Patrol says a delivery driver was forced off the road and his vehicle came to rest on top of several cars in the parking lot of the Texas Roadhouse on Blanding Blvd.

According to FHP, the driver of a Honda CRV was traveling north on Blanding Blvd, attempting to turn left on Suzanne Avenue. The pizza delivery driver was traveling south in the middle lane of Blanding Blvd. in a blue Volvo S40.

As the delivery driver approached the intersection at Suzanne Ave, the driver of the Honda CRV began to turn left onto Suzanne Ave. — failing to yield to the delivery driver — and collided with the driver-side door of the Volvo.

The impact of the collision caused the Volvo to travel off the roadway and over an embankment, ultimately coming to rest on top of several vehicles in the parking lot of the Texas Roadhouse on Blanding Blvd.

The driver of the Honda CRV was ticketed for failing to yield to a vehicle.

FHP said no one was seriously injured and no one was inside the parked vehicles at the time of the crash.

FHP did not give any details as to the condition of the pizza.
