MILWAUKEE — In just four days 58 cars were broken into at one of Milwaukee’s busiest locations, Mitchell International Airport.

The Milwaukee County Sheriffs Office said they arrested two teens in connection to the break-ins and a stolen pickup truck from the airport.

The deputies say teens went from car to car shooting windows with a BB gun and stealing whatever they could get their hands on.

One Franklin man says on Thursday, February 4, he returned from a trip to the Virgin Islands to find level three of the daily parking garage filled with orange cones behind cars.

“As I was walking up to my car I noticed strange orange cones behind random cars,” said Brian Misslich.

Once he got to his truck, he saw the window on the driver’s side had been smashed, and he found a yellow note from the sheriffs office.

There were no valuables, and Misslich says nothing was taken from inside.

Misslich had to pay 100.00 for his window repair, however his parking at the airport was reimbursed.
