The Tokyo Auto Salon is known for displaying some pretty wild cars, from ones covered in dessert to Ferraris made to resemble sharks. The three-day event takes place in Makuhari Messe, a convention center just outside of Tokyo, and is one of the largest custom car and car-related product shows.
We have yet to see any truly wild cars (nothing covered in macaroons just yet, but we’ll keep an eye out), but we compiled a list of the ones set to display come January. Here’s a look:
