Four people found dead in Texas home – Fox News

Authorities in North Texas are investigating the deaths of four people, including a teenage girl, who were found in a home Sunday afternoon.

Crowley Police Chief Luis Soler told reporters late Sunday that a 9-year-old boy who was inside the home called a relative and told her that a man there was injured after attempting to kill himself. Soler said the woman then called 911 at approximately 4:15 p.m. local time.

When police arrived at the home, they found the bodies of the four victims as well as the 9-year-old, who appeared to be unhurt. That child is in protective custody and is being interviewed.

The identities of the four victims have not been revealed and authorities gave no details on how they died. When asked about the nature of their injuries, Soler only said that they had “obvious signs of trauma.” The chief said that the victims appeared to be living as a “family unit”, but it was not exactly clear how they were related.

“We don’t know exactly what happened out there,” he said.

Soler said that there was no danger to the general public, and added that officers found no indication of a forced entry and no other victims were discovered.

The deaths will have “a huge impact in this tight-knit community,” the chief said. Crowley, a city of about 14,000, is about 15 miles south of Fort Worth.
