DETROIT, MI- Can’t get enough of the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat?
Dodge has you covered. With a few clicks of a mouse or taps on a tablet, you can now hear the roars of the vehicle’s supercharged 6.2-liter, 707-horsepower engine every time someone calls your phone.
Dodge recently announced a free mobile ringtone of the supercharged engine is available for Apple, Android and Blackberry mobile devices at drivesrt.com/hellcatringtone. Downloadable wallpaper images of the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT for desktop and mobile devices are also available at the website.
“When you name an engine ‘Hellcat,’ it had better have the performance to back it up and a sound that wakes up the devil,” said Tim Kuniskis, President and CEO, Dodge and SRT Brands. “The Hellcat’s signature sound is the unholy union of supercharger whine and 5.5 inches of unrestricted exhaust.”
The Hellcat already boasts an impressive resume, with a National Hot Rod Association-certified quarter-mile elapsed time of 11.2 seconds at 125 miles per hour (with drag radials, the run dropped to just 10.8 seconds at 126 mph) and the performance details make it the most powerful production muscle car to date. The vehicle’s top speed is 199 miles per hour.
The Hellcat website also offers a a “Dodge Revolution” three-dimensional augmented reality app at iTunes and Google Play that allows users to virtually customize a Challenger and test drive the vehicle on virtual tracks.
The Hellcat, starting at roughly $60,000 when it arrives in dealerships next month, anchors a lineup of updated 2015 Challengers that includes nine other models.
