Ford Shifts Global, Europe Executives – Wall Street Journal

Ford Motor Co. swapped its European chief, Stephen Odell, for its global marketing leader, Jim Farley, putting both men in tough environments.

Europe has lost $619 million through nine months and likely will lose money again in 2015 as Mr. Farley steps into the role. Meanwhile, Mr. Odell will have to boost Ford’s flagging U.S. market share and keep China sales rolling to hit the company’s goal of 8 million in global sales.
