Honda’s Sales Feel Pinch From Yen Strength – Wall Street Journal

TOKYO—Honda Motor Co. turned in a solid quarter despite the headwinds from a higher yen, citing strong sales in the U.S. and China.
Honda said net profit fell 6% in the April-June period to ¥175 billion ($1.72 billion), but that was because the Japanese currency rose against the dollar, eating into the value in yen terms of dollars earned overseas.
